As a Wedding Photographer, I’ve had the privilege of capturing some of the most beautiful moments of people’s lives. Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing Kaitlyn & Jack’s Wedding at St Josephs Catholic Church in Orange NSW. The church was a beautiful historic building that was constructed in the late 1800s, with stunning architecture that provided an elegant backdrop for the ceremony. As I arrived at the church, I was struck by its grandeur. The towering spires and intricate stained-glass windows added to the overall sense of awe and beauty. Inside, the church was just as stunning, with vaulted ceilings and intricate details that added to the grandeur of the space. Both of these two have lived in Orange their entire lives and so getting married there just made sense. Infact Kaitlyn told me that St Josephs was extra special to her as it is where her Grandparents were married some years ago and she couldn’t wait to follow in their footsteps.
One of the challenges that can arise during a wedding is unpredictable weather. Unfortunately, on the day of this wedding in Orange, NSW, the weather forecast had predicted rain, and indeed, it rained quite a lot. However, as they say, the show must go on, and we were able to capture some truly beautiful moments despite the weather. We were able to use the rain to our advantage, incorporating it into some of the photographs, such as the couple sharing an umbrella or walking hand in hand under the rain. Despite the rain, the day was beautiful, and the couple’s love for each other shone through in every moment. As a wedding photographer, it’s important to be prepared for any situation, and this wedding in Orange, NSW, was a testament to that. The rain added a unique element to the day, creating a romantic and cozy atmosphere that made it all the more special.
The Wedding Reception was held at The Remington in Orange and as we arrived I was struck by the venue’s beauty. Only a relatively new Orange wedding venue, The Remington is a modern wedding venue that provides a full wedding experience. It has an outdoor area called the Sundown Terrace that can hold up to 60 guests for a ceremony. The reception area, called The Remington Suite, can seat up to 120 guests and also includes access to the Sundown Terrace. With 82 rooms for accommodation and an onsite restaurant and bar, The Remington Orange makes it easy for you and your guests to celebrate your special day in one place. The staff at The Remington were attentive and professional, ensuring that everything ran smoothly throughout the evening. The food was exquisite, with a variety of dishes that catered to all tastes, and the drinks flowed freely, adding to the festive and celebratory atmosphere. As the evening progressed, the dance floor came alive with music from DJ Benny on the Decks, and the guests danced the night away. The speeches were heartfelt and emotional, and there were tears of joy and laughter throughout the evening.
Orange, NSW, is a beautiful location for a wedding, with its stunning natural scenery and historic architecture providing the perfect backdrop for a wedding photoshoot. As a wedding photographer, I have had the pleasure of capturing many beautiful weddings in Orange, and it remains one of my favorite locations to work in.
